Trauma training in :
Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)® (Level III)
DBR is a trauma psychotherapy which aims to access and process traumatic experience by tracking the original sequence of physiological responses that occurred when the deep brain had been alerted to a threat or an attachment disruption.
Flash Technique (Level II)
The Flash Technique (FT) is a recently developed evidenced-based therapeutic intervention for reducing the disturbance associated with traumatic or other distressing memories. Unlike many conventional trauma therapy interventions, FT is a minimally intrusive option that does not require the client to consciously engage with the traumatic memory. This allows the client to process traumatic memories without feeling distress.
Don’t forget, Registered Psychotherapy services are often fully or partially covered by extended health insurance or employee benefits plan. Fees may also qualify as an eligible medical expense for income tax purposes. Please check with your health insurance provider, or feel free to contact me with any questions.

The Village: Mother’s Matrescence Circle
Motherhood is a profound developmental transition.
It can bring joy, love, uncertainty, exhaustion, and a changing sense of identity.
Matrescence describes the emotional, psychological, relational, and identity changes that can accompany becoming a mother.
This four-week therapeutic group offers a small, supportive space for mothers to explore their experiences of motherhood with others who may be navigating similar transitions.
Across four Tuesday mornings, we will explore themes such as identity, expectations, relationships, boundaries, emotional well-being, and the challenges and changes that can accompany motherhood.
The group will include therapeutic discussion, reflection, and opportunities for connection within a confidential group setting.
Four-week therapeutic group
Tuesdays beginning November 17th
9:30–10:30 AM
Limited to 8 mothers
$280 for the four-week series
This is a closed therapeutic group, and participants will be asked to complete an initial screening/consultation to ensure that the group is an appropriate fit for their needs.
A space to pause, reflect, connect, and make room for your experience of motherhood.
Therapeutic Beginner’s Knitting Circle
Anxiety, Mindfulness & Keeping Our Hands Busy
Sometimes, having something simple to focus on can create space to slow down.
This four-week therapeutic knitting circle is designed for beginners and offers an opportunity to learn a new skill while exploring topics related to anxiety, mindfulness, coping, and emotional well-being.
Over the four weeks, we will learn something new each evening and gradually work toward creating a simple scarf. No previous knitting experience is required.
Each session will combine beginner knitting instruction with therapeutic conversation, reflection, and mindfulness-based practices. The repetitive, hands-on nature of knitting can offer an opportunity to practice slowing down, focusing attention, and staying present while keeping our hands busy.
This is a therapeutic group where creativity, conversation, and connection come together in a welcoming and supportive environment.
